This October we are joining schools all over the world to celebrate walking, during International Walk to School Month. We would encourage you and your children to walk to or home from school as many days as possible during the month. Remember to consider park and stride if you live further away or drop off children on the way to work – this still gives a burst of exercise, and reduces congestion around the school gate making it safer for everyone.
Primary 4 and 5 will be taking part in a special competition on the week of 11th – 15th October – any pupils making at least 8 active journeys (walking, cycling, scooting or park and stride) will be entered into a prize draw to win prizes!
