P1 enjoyed learning about the job of a paramedic. They discovered how to use different pieces of equipment like the special torch used check a patients eyes and throat, the stethoscope to check for a healthy heartbeat, and an oxygen mask to help breathing. They took turns in the ambulance, trying out the bed to check if it was comfy, and also got to sit on the quad bike and beep the horn. It was lots of fun.
