More WW2 learning
Both classes visited Carrick Civic Centre for a workshop on WW2. We looked at what went into an evacuee’s suitcase, practised spending our clothing coupons, learned about rationed and non-rationed foods and heard about a young boy’s experience being evacuated. We enjoyed travelling by train too.
We are also working on our ICT skills and are adding a gas mask onto an uploaded photograph of ourselves.
We enjoyed visiting Greenisland Library last week too. It was great to get a few more people signed up to be members.
