During November P1 have been learning about different types of owls, from the great, big Eagle Owl to the tiny, little Elf Owl. We learned lots of amazing facts about owls by exploring fact books and watching videos. We sang counting songs about owls, ordered owl pictures by size, and labelled the different parts of an owl. Have a look at the owls we made using dough and autumn materials. The most exciting part of this topic was getting to meet Pepper the Barn Owl who came to school with Alan the Explorer and his Wee Critters.
